Dorma upgraded series closer with conversion plate will allow the hole pattern to stay consistent.  

The TS83 upgrade is the recommendation if you are retrofitting to an existing door and frame that had a TS83 and don’t want to re-prep.

This will not exactly match the appearance of the TS83. TS93 would be closer in aesthetics, but different (enhanced) performance and more expensive from TS83.

If it is a new project you wouldn’t need the conversion plate – The replacement closer took the place in our offering when TS83 was discontinued in North America. The closers internals were modeled after the TS83.

Most accurate way to order is: 

Conversion plate utilizes DORMA TS83 regular or parallel arm template holes to mount the closer to the door. For parallel arm, the parallel bracket can either remain or be replaced with a new P89 standard parallel arm bracket.
